We are always looking for new arrangements and compositions for brass band with a view to publication. If you wish to send us a your work, you are welcome to do so in any of the following formats:-
- A Sibelius file (preferred)
- An Adobe PDF file
- Hard Copy (printed version or hand written manuscript)

Please DO NOT send original manuscripts as we are unable to return any hard copies you send to us.
Your score will be assessed as we must ensure that your work is suitable for our target market. If we would like to publish your score, you will receive a contract detailing the conditions for publication. The contracts are straight forward and easy to understand.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not publish every title that is sent to us. All works must meet certain criteria in order to be processed for publication. Amongst others, these include quality of arrangement/composition, suitability, cost-effectiveness & how well they'd retail. Please allow up to 6 weeks for a response as we are generally sent many titles per week. Thank you.
Copyright Issues
As you will be aware, copyright exists on any work written by someone else who died after 1947, regardless of whether this work is published or not. Before publishing an arrangement of such work, copyright clearance must be obtained from the copyright owners.
If you have a piece of music that you have arranged that is still in copyright, please see our 'Copyright Licensing' page for more detailed information.
Pennine Music Publishing do not publish any arrangements for which no copyright clearance exists, however we are able to help gain clearances in some circumstances due to our long relationship with many of the big UK copyright holders.
Music written by a composer who died before 1946 is usually not subject to copyright, except in special circumstances. Naturally, the copyright to original compositions belongs to the composer.
